AEW Collision 5/27/26 Review and Quick Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
The Conglomeration (Cassidy, Strong, O'Reilly) defeated The Don Callis Family (Archer, Romero, Baretta)
Grade: C+
This was ok. All of the competitors are capable of more.
TayJay survived the 5 Minute Challenge with Divine Dominion
Grade: B-
I love all four of these women. All four of these women need more practice and promo time. Divine Dominion gets by because of their size and stature. I think they are a great team, but they need a real feud to be solid. I'm hoping this turns into a longer program, not just a one and done.
Tommaso Ciampa Segment
Grade: B+
Apparently this guys hates everything about Chris Jericho.
Hazuki defeated Maya World
Grade: B-
Hazuki got the win to warm up before the Owen Hart match, but Maya World was the star here. Crazy how fast she is improving.
Dennis Condrey Segment
Grade: A+
Pure class by AEW, as usual, in honoring another fallen legend. One half of the Midnight Express. Rest in Peace, Sir.
Lee Moriarty defeated Tim Bosby
Grade: D
Odd to showcase someone who doesn't regularly wrestle in AEW.
Jon Moxley and Pac defeated The Infantry
Grade: B
A pretty solid match with Moxley getting the hot tag and cleaning house. In a different world STP would be featured on AEW programming more.
The Dogs (Conners and Finley) defeated The Gunns
Grade: B
A good match between two capable tag teams. I like that Clark Connors is all style in dress but just absolute brutality in the ring. He just runs and hits people. No finesse. Just impact.
The Don Callis Family (Cage and Doyle) defeated Jimmy Wild, Tommy Mars
Grade: N/A
Are we moving to combining the two big men tag teams in the DCF, or is this temporary while Davis is AEW National Champion?
Konosuke Takeshita defeated Daniel Garcia
Grade: A
A fantastic match for Takeshita to defend that AEW International Championship. Garcia had the best match he's had in a while. A very interesting ending including Shane Taylor Promotions, The Conglomeration, The Death Riders, The Don Callis Family, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey. PIER NINE BRAWL!
Final Grade (counting the hour on Wednesday): B+
I'm counting this all as one show, even thought it was clearly three and a half hours spread out over two nights. A great set of action either way, though the overrun on Wednesday was more impressive than the Saturday show.
All Elite Award: Kris Statlander
A very tough win this week, but Statlander barely edges out Ace Austin and Konosuke Takeshita for this show's All Elite Award. She had another brutal hardcore match, this time against Shida.
AEW Collision 5/27/26 Review and Quick Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
Don Callis Family and Conglomeration Segment
Grade: A-
Fletcher is back and cleared 100%. Takeshita has some new buddies in the Conglomeration. I like it all around. ProtoShida is on a collision course!
Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, and Pac defeated The Rascalz
Grade: B+
Great match for the Death Riders w/Ospreay as they gelled together pretty well. Pac went from not seeing Ospreay as an equal to begrudgingly accepting him.
Andrade El Idolo defeated Ace Austin
Grade: A-
Ace Austin actually outperformed Andrade who has been pretty hot. Impressive.
Kris Statlander defeated Hikaru Shida in a Lights Out Street Fight
Grade: A-
Another fantastic hardcore match by the AEW Women's Division. They sure like to get dirty like the men do!
AEW Collision 5/20/26 Review and Quick Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
Will Ospreay defeated Katsuyori Shibata
Grade: B
A good match. Anthony Bowens tried to get involved before the match was over. Afterward, Samoa Joe came out and hyped up the match at DoN.
Cope and Christian Segment
Grade: B+
Short and actually pretty sweet. I like that quote from Christian Cage!
RUSH defeated TJ Crawford
Grade: N/A
What is the best run RUSH has had in AEW?
Divine Dominion defeated Elle Valentine and Kayla Lopez in a 5-Minute Challenge
Grade: N/A
Can we get these two in a real feud?
FTR defeated Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong
Grade: A-
A good match. There was little doubt in the outcome of this one with FTR about to face Cope and Cage at DoN.
Final Grade: B-
This was an abridged show after Dynamite. With four matches and two of them being against enhancement talent, it was a real mixed bag.
All Elite Award: Will Ospreay
Between a good match and the passionate promo afterwards, Ospreay picks up the win tonight. This is his second win of the award in 2026.
AEW Collision 5/2/26 Review and Quick Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
The Death Riders (Moxley, Castagnoli, and Pac) and The Dogs (Finley and Connors) defeated The Rascalz and Top Flight
Grade: A-
This one was as crazy as you'd assume. Putting the Rascalz with Top Flight essentially meant someone was flying at all times.
Jack Perry Segment
Grade: B-
Luchasaurus driving the bus is always great. Perry threw the cameraman out of the bus. Telling us he is going on a nation-wide tour is probably tipping the hand a bit for this next match, though.
Jack Perry defeated Mascara Dorada to retain the AEW National Championship
Grade: A
It's going to be very hard to top this match. Dorada did several moves I've never seen before, which always amazes me after 40 years of watching. Perry was impressive in keeping the pace of Dorada. The move on the LED railing was sick. Perry is going to have a sore head from that one.
Shida and Stat Segment One
Grade: C-
What are we doing here? This just seems like an excuse for matches. Stat has flipped too many times for us to feel bad for her due to Shida's shadiness.
The Conglomeration defeated MxM TV
Grade: B-
Cassidy had some funny moments with MxM, but this was an "eh" match. AEW somehow needs to find a way to integrate ROH into the show just a bit. Telling us MxM TV has been on fire on ROH doesn't translate if we haven't seen it. Maybe give us an "ROH Minute" on every Collision so it doesn't take away from Dynamite? Something has to change here.
Shout Out to Rebel
Grade: A
AEW acknowledged on air Rebel's right with ALS. Classy move. We here at Pinfalls and Submissions wish her all the strength and good vibes we can. Fight, Rebel.
Willow Nightingale defeated Anna Jay to retain the AEW TBS Championship
Grade: B-
Anna looked a bit rusty, but there are other faster women in the AEW women's division these days that are just more polished. It definitely felt like they brought her back on TV to keep up Willow's new "Comeback Killer" gimmick up. Kamille, Aminata, Shida, and now Anna Jay have all fallen to Willow. There are plenty more out there.
Shida and State Segment Two
Grade: C-
This time the duo is joined by Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron. This is a mess. Mina is sure to bring up Toni being attacked, but is that even a plotline AEW wants us to remember? What are we doing here?
The Bang Bang Gang (Robinson and Austin) defeated The Death Riders (Garcia and Wheeler)
Grade: B+
This was a great match. Austin was in the ring a lot and the local fans wanted Illinois resident Juice Robinson to get the hot tag. He did and the BGG got the win. Afterwards the Death Riders began to beat down Robinson and Austin until a returning Gunn Club made the save. Great to see Austin Gunn back and even better to see Colton Gunn back after a very long layoff. He looks to be in phenomenal shape.
Skye Blue defeated Niki XS
Grade: C-
No fault of the ladies for this grade, but they just weren't given time or a story or anything really, other than a homestate appearance for Skye Blue. I liked that she was able to fight at "home" in a singles match. I remember being at the show where she was offered her contract off air. It was quite a moment for her, her family, and the live crowd.
Kevin Knight defeated HOOK to retain the AEW TNT Championship
Grade: A-
I hesitate to say it without research, but this may have been HOOK's best match in AEW. Kevin Knight is so good he managed to get a lengthy, competitive match with a story out of HOOK, who isn't always the most complete wrestler. Kevin Knight also pulled a few moves out I've never seen. That one where he was dropped on his head but caught himself with his hands and got back up was absolutely nuts. My wrists hurt just watching it.
Final Grade: A-
This was a solid show from start to finish in terms of wrestling. The segments with the ladies were messy, but the Knight/HOOK, Perry/Dorada, and Death Riders & Dogs/Rascalz & Top Flight made it a very quality show. They also seem to be doing more straight up title matches and less of the eliminator matches, which I hate. Use them sparingly for a storyline, not to have an excuse for two wrestler fight. I hate eliminator matches and I hate matches for "money".
All Elite Award: Jack Perry
Winning the best match on the show will go a long way toward winning this award. Well played, Perry.
AEW Collision 4/25/26 Review and Quick Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
The Conglomeration (Strong, Cassidy, and O'Reilly) defeated The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Andrade, and Archer) to retain the AEW Trios Championships
Grade: B-
Will Ospreay/Death Riders Segment
Grade: A-
What exactly is going on in this story? The Death Riders took Ospreay to a nondescript area in a parking lot and Moxley attempted to instill some knowledge into Ospreay. We did not get to see how it ended.
The Death Riders (Garcia, Castagnoli, and Yuta) and The Dogs (Conners and Finley) defeated The Rascalz and The Bucks
Grade: A-
One of those car crash matches with people flying all over the place. It was pretty fun to see both teams working with the various team elements. The Rascalz and the Bucks are super fun together.
Kris Statlander defeated Enhancement Talent
Grade: C+
Shida says she and Statlander will take down the Divine Dominion.
RUSH defeated Adam Priest
Grade: B
I expected a blow out, but Priest made it interesting. One of his better showings in AEW. RUSH looked good in the win.
The Triangle of Madness (Blue and Thekla) defeated Alex Windsor and Persephone
Grade: B
A really fun match that ended in Julia Hart entering the ring and spraying the black mist at Persephone. Will we see more of her in AEW? Would they have Persephone win the title and take it back to Mexico? They won't. But they should.
Jack Perry defeated El Clon to retain the AEW National Championship
Grade: A-
Man, El Clon is impressive. I saw it each match, but wow. He truly does moves I've never seen before. Incredible. Perry was also very good in this one. AEW just has such a large stable of workhorses that can go.
The Demand defeated Jericho and the Hurt Syndicate
Grade: B+
Jericho loses again. The Hurt Syndicate seemed stunned as Ricochet pinned Jericho again. What is the path for Jericho? Surely the feud can't be over yet until Jericho wins.
Final Grade: B
Another solid wrestling action Collision. As Dynamite has focused more heavily on storylines (which have been good, make no mistake), Collision has been the place to find a solid top-to-bottom wrestling show.
All Elite Award: Jack Perry
A very solid match with El Clon this week. I almost think El Clon was more impressive, but Perry picked up the win. He's had a good run since returning as "Jungle".
AEW Collision 4/16/26 Review and Quick Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
Adam Copeland, FTR, RPG Vice, Young Bucks Segment
Grade: B-
This didn't really set up anything further with FTR, the Young Bucks, and Cope and Cage. I would have rather seen The Rascalz be the other three to join Cope against FTR and RPG in a later match.
The Young Bucks defeated The Rascalz (Reed and Wentz)
Grade: B
A really fun match that had some definite TNA 2013-ish vibes to it. Just flying around at breakneck speed and tandem moves to the opposite teams.
The Conglomeration (Cassidy, O'Reilly, and Strong) defeated The Lethal Twist (Lethal, Johnson, and Christian) to retain the AEW Trios Championship
Grade: C+
Ok. I can't seem to get behind Johnson and Christian. I guess as a team to get others over they are fine. They need more charisma. Or maybe give Lethal the microphone to build them up a bit.
Jon Moxley defeated Nick Wayne
Grade: B
Great to see Nick Wayne back. It looks like he'll be keeping the same character he left with. I like the idea of just a solo run with Mother Wayne.
Pac defeated Lio Rush
Grade: B
This is mostly for the entertainment value here. Lio is a creepy, creepy bastard now. Pac did a FANTASTIC job of being scared and unsure of Lio. What a weird, but entertaining match.
Brody King, Mascara Dorada, and Mistico defeated Enhancement Talent
Grade: N/A
Why did we need this? I am never in favor of more than one enhancement talent match on Collision.
Thekla defeated Alex Windsor to retain the AEW World Championship
Grade: B+
A very solid main event between two capable workers. Thekla is a beast and Windsor is a great addition to the women's division. The brass knuckles were the deciding factor again.
Final Grade: B-
This somehow felt like it was less of a quality show the individual segments indicated. But maybe we're still basking in the glow of the Darby win and how cohesive Dynamite was this week. I do not need two enhancement matches each week when we have a roster of 150+ workers, plus CMLL, ROH, New Japan, and Stardom cameos.
All Elite Award: Thekla
No one really stood out too high above everyone else this week, but Thekla was able to get the women a main event this week and came out on top to further what has been a solid reign as women's champion. She's been a working champion as a heel, and that's saying something fresh, even though she resorts to interference and brass knuckles to win.
AEW Collision 4/11/26 Review and Quick Grades

The Dogs defeated Jet Speed and Mistico to win the AEW Trios Championships
Grade: B+
This was a good match and frees Jet Speed up to do some tag or singles runs. The Dogs needed a win, and they finally got it here.
Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida defeated Enhancement Talent
Grade: N/A
Hikaru teased attacking Stat as well. Where is this character going to go?
The Hurt Syndicate returned to defeat Enhancement Talent:
Grade: C-
The power and grace of Lashley and Benjamin are back! They looked great in this one!
RUSH defeated Anthony Bowen to win the number two spot in the Casino Gauntlet Match at Dynasty
Grade: B
This was a good match for Bowens, who sometimes leaves a bit to be desired in the ring as a solo artist. RUSH looked great, as always.
The Young Bucks defeated El Clon and Hechicero
Grade: A
The Bucks are ageless wonders. It's easy to forget that they debuted 22 years ago. Remarkable how fast they are and can combo moves together. Great match. Hechicero and El Clon are forgettably good. Both are solid workers.
Kazuchika Okada defeated Myron Reed of the Rascalz
Grade: B+
A solid match. I have to say, I've quickly come around to the Rascalz. Reed is was up to the task here to match Okada.
The Brawling Birds defeated Thekla and Marina Shafir
Grade: B+
Pretty hard-hitting and outstanding women's tag team match! Thekla gets a rare loss, even though Shafir ate the L. Why was Shafir smiling as she was pinned? These should both be fun matches tomorrow!
Final Grade: B+
A fantastic AEW Collision from start to finish. This had wonderful wrestling, interesting angle, and great promos and interviews. Collision continues to be the show with more wrestling featured. I can't wait for Dynasty tonight.
All Elite Award: Nick Jackson
The Dogs won the gold, but it was the Bucks who won the best match. And of the two brothers, Nick has been impressing me more as of late. Timing his combos and working a good range of strikes, flying, and slams, Nick has been on his game recently and looks to be in incredible shape to boot.
AEW Collision 3/28/26 Review and Quick Grades

Divine Dominion defeated The Babes of Wrath to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships
Grade: B
Myron Reed defeated Johnny TV
Grade: C
The Death Riders (Moxley and Garcia) defeated Private Party
Grade: B-
The Brawling Birds and Mina Shirakawa defeated Enhancement Talent
Grade: N/A
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Ace Austin
Grade: A
The Don Callis Family (Fletcher and Davis) defeated The Rascalz (Xavier and Wentz)
Grade: A-
Kazuchika Okada defeated Kevin Knight to retain the AEW International Championship
Grade: A
Final Grade: B+
A huge improvement over last week's Collision. This show had extremely strong matches--particularly in the last hour--and the segments were good as well. It allowed a lot of people to be showcased this week. There was also nice variety with tag team, women, trios, and singles matches featured on the show, even though The Brawling Birds and Mina were just given a vehicle to make a match with The Triangle of Madness.
All Elite Award: Kevin Knight
It feels guilty to not give Okada the award, but I think he plays his chickenshit heel character too well. Kevin Knight has continued to impress me in the last four to six months. I knew he was a strong mid-carder when he debuted, but I could honestly see him headlining the promotion. He is the perfect mix of swagger and talent. He has Ospreay's moves at times and Swerve's arrogance, but somehow comes off as loveable with his big smile. It also kills me to not recognize what was possibly Ace Austin's best match in AEW here against Tommaso Ciampa. Anyone you picked from the last three matches would be a fine choice.
AEW Dynamite 3/21 & 3/22/26 Review and Quick Grades

Kyle Fletcher defeated Robbie Eagles to retain the TNT Championship
Grade B+
La Faccion Ingobernable defeated Enhancement Talent
Grade: N/A
The Brawling Birds defeated The Sisters of Sin
Grade: C+
The Death Riders (Garcia and Castagnoli) defeated Mascara Dorada and Komander
Grade: B+
Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong defeated Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson
Grade: B
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Lio Rush
Grade: B-
Divine Dominion defeated Enhancement Talent
Grade: N/A
Jet Speed and Mistico defeated The Don Callis Family (Takeshita, Alexander, and El Clon) to retain the AEW Trios Championships
Grade: A-
Final Grade: C+
A couple enhancement talent matches and the fact that the show was split over multiple nights really prevented it from flowing well. I understand why AEW has to do this during the tournament, but I guess we should just we thankful we still get a Collision.
All Elite Award: Mistico
Robbie Eagles probably impressed me the most, as I haven't seen a ton of his work before. But Mistico has made himself at home in AEW. I do love that some AEW stars are also being signed to CMLL now. I don't know the financial details or how scheduling works, but I'm going to assume AEW probably has priority. "Mi Muero!"
AEW Collision 3/14/26 Review and Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
Kevin Knight defeated El Clon
Grade: B
A very solid matchup to kick off the card. Knight always impresses and El Clon is phenomenal, even though he doesn't get many matches.
Mark Davis defeated Komander
Grade: B-
A great match of David and Goliaths. Komander looked good, but this was about showcasing the power of Mark Davis, new Trios Champion.
The Triangle of Madness defeated Viva Van and Enhancement Talent
Grade: C
The match was nothing, but it was a lead-in to Kris Statlander showing up and taking lashings with a belt from Thekla. Stat looked credible and very hard to beat. This will be a tough one to predict. I still lean toward Thekla.
The Demand defeated The Bang Bang Gang (Austin, Robinson, and Austin Gunn)
Grade: B-
Good to see the Bang Bang Gang get some screen time under any circumstance. This faction is always popular, they just need some time. We don't need to wait for Jay White and Colton Gunn to get back. Let's gooo!
Lena Kross defeated Mina Shirakawa
Grade: C+
Mina tried, but she couldn't get the win. Does Mina ever win? What are we doing here? Kross gets a big win early in her AEW career. Will Kross win two belts tomorrow night? One? None? Hmm...
Andrade El Idolo defeated Mascara Dorada
Grade: A-
A great match between two very capable athletes. Andrade has been solid since returning, and Dorada always impresses when he stops by. Great high-flying moves in this one. The avalanche hurricanrana, multiple torneos, and the top rope Spanish fly were impressive. Afterwards, Bandido came out to confront Andrade, but was attacked by RPG VIce, who were then attacked by Brody King, who was then attacked by Swerve Strickland. a preview of two very different styles of matches for tomorrow.
Final Grade: B-
While still solid, this episode of Collision was a bit lower than many recently. But with the PPV tomorrow, I'm not going to complain. There were still some quality matches here, including the main event and opening match. A definite Lucha Libre flair to the evening, which is always a good thing.
All Elite Award: Andrade El Idolo
I wouldn't be mad if someone picked Mascara Dorada instead. This was the match of the night and, honestly, Andrade deserves some praise for picking up his character from the last time he was in AEW and became a mid-card wrestler lost in feuds. He has stepped it up and his workrate has been great so far.
AEW Collision 3/7/26 Review and Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
FTR defeated The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Desmond Xavier)
Grade: B+
Great match featuring The Rascalz again. Their in-ring product I am starting to love. I still don't need the stoner/munchies gimmick in 2026, though. Wentz is amazing. FTR looked good here as well. Great warm up for Revolution.
Daniel Garcia defeated Tommaso Ciampa
Grade: C+
A decent fight until Mark Briscoe attempted to get a measure of revenge on Daniel Garcia. He inadvertently hit Ciampa, causing him to lose. Afterwards, FTR came to the ring to talk to CIampa, but Briscoe ushered Ciampa away. On the ramp, CIampa snapped and went after Briscoe, throwing him into the LED screens. Interesting that they would turn Ciampa so quickly after he was SO beloved by the fans upon his arrival. What is the purpose here?
Swerve Strickland defeated Gravity
Grade: C-
A squash match for Swerve with Brody's friend Bandido's brother Gravity. Huh? At least Gravity got a few moves in.
Private Party defeated The Swirl, The Outrunners, and LFI (Rush and Dralistico)
Grade: B-
A fun match that went all over the place with all four teams getting their stuff in. There wasn't really a wrong winner for this match as any of them could have used some stroke in the tag team division. Still, the recently returned Private Party pick up a good win here. I loved the bit after the match where a young fan got a stack of money and Isiah Cassidy gave him knuckles to steal the money back.
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross defeated The Timeless Love Bombs
Grade: B+
That was one of the better women's tag team matches in AEW recently. Kross looks like a beast. Bayne always looks like a beast. Storm still looked like a star. And Mina had a better outing than her last few. She needs a few wins, though. Marina Shafir prevented Toni Storm from making a tag, leaving Mina isolated.
The Dogs defeated Enhancement Talent
Grade: N/A
This is an interesting trio that is still new to me. Gabe Kidd is certifiable. Connors is the cool dude. Finley looks calm and collected--like a serial killer.
Konosuke Takeshita defeats Claudio Castagnoli
Grade: A
AN Amazing bout between two of the best big men in the business today! Wow! Takeshita is amazing and Claudio has been on such a roll lately. Man! Hard-hitting, technical wrestling, and some high flying. This was a great main event. Afterwards Jon Moxley and Hechicero got involved on their respective sides. A lot of history between all four of those guys.
Final Grade: B
One thing AEW has been doing very, very well lately--and isn't probably being talked enough about--is how great they have been delivering on their main events. The final match on almost all of the last shows for a month have been fantastic. And they have had a good variety of who is involved in those matches. It just goes to show again that AEW is "Where the Best Wrestle".
All Elite Award: Konosuke Takeshita
It is hard to pick against Claudio again, but Takeshita won the match and goes into Revolution with a win. He also mixed it up with Moxley afterwards. A full-on face Takeshita should be someone the fans get behind. Big time.
AEW Collision 2/28/26 Review and Grades
-Logan Rogers (photos property of All Elite Wrestling)
MJF is interrupted by Kevin Knight
Grade: B+
Who is Kevin Knight to go toe to toe on the microphone with MJF? How dare he! He did well, and we have a title match set up for Dynamite. I guess MJF forgot about his protesting the stipulation with Adam Page pretty fast...
The Death Riders (Pac, Wheeler, Garcia, & Castagnoli) defeats The Don Callis Family (Archer, Baretta, Romero, & Alexander)
Grade: B
Solid eight-man action between the two feuding factions. They protected Yuta's clean cut as the match went on, depriving the fans of seeing his bald head, though they would get the reveal later on... Archer looked good here, as did Claudio.
Tommaso Ciampa defeats Jay Lethal
Grade: B-
A solid outing by two long-time ROH rivals. Ciampa looks good back in action. The pesky Swirl tried to involve themselves several times on Lethal's behalf.
The Brawling Birds defeat Enhancement Talent
Grade: N/A
Look all they need to do is literally make Hayter and Windsor the female versions of Doyle and Davis. That's it. What is this gimmick?
Protokada defeat Top Flight
Grade: B+
This was a fun one. Though they never have momentum, Top Flight has always been a rock-solid tag team to have matches against. They looked great here and, more importantly, made Okada and Fletcher look amazing. Good match. Afterwards, we get a fairly long exchange with Jet Speed that was, frankly, a bit confusing. How many matches are we booking here? Three as near as I can tell, but Knight has a fourth against MJF? What?
Toni Storm defeats Zeyda Steel
Grade: C-
This was all Storm. Steel looks like she is young yet, but hopefully she's still improving. Matches against people like Storm can only help. Afterwards, Shafir and Yuta interrupt and Toni pulls off Yuta's hat finally, putting it on her own head.
HOOK recruits for The Opps
Grade: C
HOOK is backstage looking for new members for The Opps. After rejecting on person, he runs into Anthony Bowens. Long story short, HOOK tells Bowens he doesn't know if Bowens is Opps material. Not a particularly effective segment, but it was good to see HOOK continue to work on his character and speaking skills, two things he is behind on.
Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa defeat The Sisters of SIn
Grade: B-
Can we get the Sisters a win? It was a big ask that they were going to beat Statdaddy and La Mera Mera, but we've seen the Sister hit each other by accident a lot recently. I hate to say this because I love then, but Skye might do better on her own. Julia needs work. If we are awarding wins and losses backstage based on polish, it makes sense this team keeps losing. What doesn't make sense is that the Sisters of Sin have been tagging longer than anyone in the division. What are we doing here? Afterwards Thekla chews out both Rosa and Statlander.
Andrade El Idolo defeats Tomohiro Ishii
Grade: B
This was billed as a "first ever meeting" between the two. A good contrast in styles, with El Idolo being so polished and smooth and Ishii just, well, a Stone Pitbull who is stiff and brutal. A good match to close the show. Afterwards Bandido came out to shake Andrade's hand, but Andrade wasn't having it.
Final Grade: B-
Not the best Collision we've seen lately, although it kept right on moving and flowed very well.
All Elite Award: Andrade El Idolo
Kevin Knight may have had the best Collision, being featured in two interview segments, but it's hard to award someone based on no in-ring action. The multi-person matches were good, but let's give today to El Idolo for being a consistent performer since his return.

Jet Set Rodeo defeats The Demand to retain the AEW Trios Championship
Grade: B+
A very solid matchup between the two trios teams. The Demand should have their day eventually, but it wasn't today. Toa is a beast, but could still work on timing a bit more.
The Young Bucks defeat The Swirl
Grade: B
A very solid match with The Swirl and the Bucks. Nice to see the Bucks with their family at ringside. I'm intrigued by the addition of Jay Lethal to The Swirl...
Claudio Castagnoli defeats Josh Alexander to retain the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship
Grade: A-
Some of the lifts and gutwrenches from Claudio were insane. Alexander isn't huge, but Claudio did things with him that no one should be able to do. Wow. Very impressed by Claudio in this one. Alexander hasn't exactly set the world on fire in AEW despite being featured pretty prominently. Super impressed here.
Megan Bayne defeats Becca
Grade: D-
Not entirely sure who Becca is, but the fans in San Diego sure seemed to love her. Can we get Bayne a title yesterday? Or the tag titles at a minimum? This was barely a match.
The Don Callis Family (Clon, Takeshita, Davis) defeated the Death Riders (Pac, Moxley, Wheeler)
Grade: A-
This was a high-octane affair that featured everyone well. I was particularly impressed with El Clon and Pac. Mark Davis continues to impress. I can't believe Yuta's hat stayed on the entire match!
Thunder Rosa defeated Julia Hart
Grade: C+
Great to see Thunder Rosa back. I hope she can stick around for a long time. She looked pretty good against Hart here. Hart still seems too fragile. She neesd to hit harder. Afterwards Thekla trash talked Rosa and Kris Statlander made the save.
The Rascalz (Wentz and Xavier) defeated FTR
Grade: B
The Young Bucks helped The Rascalz get an upset win in an eliminator match against FTR. Wentz continues to look good. FTR is always good. They are the masters. Afterwards, The Demand and Jack Perry get involved on opposite sides and Matt and Nick Jackson's younger brother is given a spike piledriver in the ring by FTR. The Jackson's mom and dad were pushed at ringside and had powder thrown in their eyes by Stokely Hathaway. Quite a scene to end the show!
Final Grade: B+
This was a really strong Collision and continues the great trends as of late with AEW.
All Elite Award: Claudio Castagnoli for his incredible performance against Josh Alexander. He was awesome.
